This matcha is hand-plucked, traditionally stone-milled, and air-freighted to ensure optimal freshness from a third generation tea producer in northern Kyoto. The flavor of this matcha comes from firing the tea leaves in higher heat than usual. The result-a toasty, nutty-like aroma with a clean & mellow vegetal finish devoid of bitterness.

BREW RECIPE
-scoop 1 tsp (2g) into a tea bowl
-add 2.5oz (75mL) of hot water (170F)
-whisk until bubbly and frothy
